Fraudulent default not removed- mortgage

Hi 😊
I’m just looking for some advice regarding a default on my credit file. I found a fraudulent account with studio on my file which had been brought by Moorcroft resulting in 2 defaults on my Experian file (
one from studio one from Moorcroft (other credit agencies had only registered the Moorcroft default) I contacted studio in early March who agreed it was a fraudulent account and they both would be removed ( I have a letter stating this also)
fast forward and checking credit karma no defaults and my Experian score has gone up to 886 however the studio default is still showing on my credit file after 2 months. We’ve had a offer accepted on a house today and are applying for our mortgage on monday but I’m what it means for us as this should’ve dropped off by now and with the current climate it’s just another headache. Can I add a note to the account and provide my broker with the letter?

Don’t add a note.
Show the broker the emails/letters from Studio confirming it’s fraudulent and will be removed.
Then chase Studio for the removal.0
