Hello,
I am wondering if anyone could give me some advice regarding this.
we own a ground floor maisonette, currently the upstairs maisonette flat is up for let.

As the ground floor maisonette we own the front garden(leasehold) no access for the 1st floor flat.
Today a ‘for let’ board has been bashed in to our flower beds on the front.
i have checked our lease pack and it doesn’t not stipulate that we have to allow ‘advertisement boards’ for the upstairs flat.

The only thing stated is to allow a tv Ariel and any workmen to repairs.
We are not being difficult however we don’t want the sign in our front garden especially as we have spent a fair bit of money on planting for it to look nice (which benefits their curb appeal) and their hideous board could be up for weeks/months. Also it encourages people to stare in to our windows.
I am certain I know where we stand in this matter but would be grateful for further advice, as A further curve ball is the owner of upstairs flat which is up for rent is also the owner of the estate agents and he is pretty aggressive in his manor anyways so want to be certain with our stance!
thanks in advance

Take the board out it's on your property even bill the estate agent for the damage caused.
Boards are irrelevant these days, most people will see the property on Rightmove anyway.3 -
It's a plastic board, on a wooden post. Honestly, if that's what you have to worry about you're bloody lucky.10

You are entitled to your opinion but as you clearly are just sat on here to give sarcastic responses and troll people asking for advice then go find another post! Thanks3 -

And actually, I'm not here to troll or leave sarcastic responses. I read your post and thought how much of a boring life must you lead to be worried about a sign. If it's that much of an issue just remove it, simple really isnt it?

What happened to do it yourself, than complain about strangers on the internet complaining about them complaining"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

I was really just after if anyone had any further leasehold advice regarding if they have rights to display the board there so I have all the correct information before we started ripping out the ground and get in to a discussion about it with the owner/agent.although people may think the sign is irrelevant it is more to do with creating issues with neighbours and at my home as I mentioned the guy is pretty aggressive in his demeanour.0 -

he has a point, you clearly live in a very quiet area with no much going on for you to worry about this. Maybe just be a bit neighbourly and let it slide.
