Painted patio slabs

Good evening all.
I'm looking to improve my garden on a budget, I would like to paint my patio slabs.
Do you think fence paint would work? Its a nightmare to get off slabs when you get in one there by accident, is cheap, comes in a range of colours and I'm happy to redo it each year if needed. I've heard that garage floor paint can be slippery plus its expensive.

Don't paint them with anything it will just peel off and look a right mess.

As above, fence paint is designed to coat or soak into timber, it isn't designed to cover concrete and I doubt it would withstand people walking over it, I'd expect it would soon peel, particularly if its a latex type paint and not a stain.

Rather than paint them, if you do want to colour them, I'd look a stain, as this soaks into the concrete rather than coating the surface. Lookup 'concrete acid stain'.
