Stopped in a bay then reversed out

I pulled into a car park. Stopped in a corner out of way. Stationary 3 minutes at most. Received fine from Premier Park of Exeter. I appealed saying what I'd done. Appeal rejected. Now a company called BW Legal chasing £248.49p. Help

Please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, fourth post, as at the moment you appear to be at the debt collection stage. But prepare for any next stage which might be a court claim by reading the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post. Better prepared, better your chances of success. How long have BWL given you to respond - 14 days, 30 days ...... ?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Did you say stopped to consider whether you wanted to park and whether the parking t&cs were acceptable to you, before appropriately leaving when they were not? That's what I thought.8

Much of which is unlawful/a scam, read this
forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6014081/abuse-of-process-district-judge-tells-bwlegal
and report them to the SRA
https://www.sra.org.uk/
they are already being investigated for possible fraud, and your complaint may be the final straw which gets them struck off.Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.3 -

Evening Ralph-y
It was a recently demolished warehouse that is now a “car “park. A few bays marked out, a few signs scattered about. ANPR camera. Lots of rubble and old tyres knocking about0 -
It is not a fine.
Whereabouts in the UK did this dastardly event allegedly occur?
What was the reason given for issuing the NTK?
Please answer all the questions you have already been asked.
What happened when you complained to the landowner?
Have you complained to your MP yet about this unregulated scam?

I’m at County court stage nowFruitcake. I’ve had to find out who owns the land. I did it by land registry. Could be best £11 I’ve spent. This is because I’ve found out someone else owns the land, not who the legal shave told me. When I complained to landowner the reply was they would get “ such company” to email me. Turns out the director of the PPC, is also a director of the company that leases the land to the PPC, and is also a director of the company that owns the land. Not holding my breath now for a reply from any of the three3

Is this the same place that was discussed last month where the Director lives abroad and the 'middle company' was CCP or something? It was similar in that the Director was a Director of both the owner and the leaseholding companies.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
