Does anyone know if my wife would be entitled to any of my pension. We have been separated for over 10 years and I am now applying for a divorce.

lewpoo you may not be aware but some laws are different in the countries of the UK.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0

Almost certainly but the exact division depends on whether you are in Scotland or somewhere else1

The laws in Scotland relating to families and divorce are different to those in place in England and Wales - that is why you are being asked where in the UK do you live. The advice may well be different in Scotland to that offered if you live in England or Wales.1
