Great win, I won 12k in Feb with Greatest hits radio(also Bauer) and was told they have to say within 28 days but is normally 1 or 2 weeks. Mine took 3 weeks to the day, Longest 3 weeks ever!!

can anyone find anything in the Terms and Conditions that states the 28 days which they subsequently state on the phone?  I can't!

Have they thought of the possibility of bank details errors ?  And the scenario of paying someone on for example day 10 and they won't know if there has been a theft of money due to bank details errors until 2 or more weeks later by which time the money could have gone forever.

I don't see anything in the T's & C's but in the General Terms it does advise they contact you in regards to the prize within 28 days, and it could just be something they advise when they phone you that it'll be deposited in your account within the next 28 days, I've seen some comments on some prizes where it has been paid in the next day.
However, if I won, I know for darned sure I ain't getting those bank details wrong, and I'm pretty sure the staff that deal with the winners would be well experienced and repeat the details to you just to double check, I think recent changes to internet banking means that when you're initiating a bank transfer it checks your account name against the account and sort code with your bank account, certainly when I add a new payee or indeed try to transfer to a new account it does this.
