TRAVEL INSURANCE

In January our son booked me and my husband a holiday to Mexico for us all to go as a celebration. We were due to fly on the21st May I went straight ahead and booked travel insurance for one week single trip basic with Staysure. Because my husband has a medical condition I always have to pay extra and this cost us £815. I rang Staysure in March and also yesterday to ask advice on what will happen as TUi aren't flying now until June so there is no holiday and was told if I cancelled I would get £67 back of my £815, but i could still be covered up to the 30th July 2021 if I gave them another holiday date before the date we are due to fly 21/05/20. Do I have to make that decision as it involves eight family members? Is there anything else I can do?

Indeed AS, you need to ask again on the forum dedicated to this.

However if you cancel your insurance the next one you buy won't cover you for the CVD19. Does this one? If it does you need to hang onto it IMO if your husbands health is so impaired it's a massive risk you'd be taking and his care will involve intensive care at huge cost and your remaining in the country throughout.
