Closed credit card refund

Hello, not sure if this is the right place.

I had a newday ltd credit card, I bought some excursions with tui and put it on my credit card £470 worth. I closed my account about 2/3 months later as they caused me problems. They never sent me any information regarding the card- nothing at all! (Stupidly I didn’t request they send me anything)

I never expected tui to cancel my holiday nor expected coronavirus, I stupidly never kept the credit card and cut it up- now tui are due to refund me 470 pounds. They said they have refunded on the 20th April. 

My question is- what do I do? Tui are saying they refunded (yet a lot of confusion and conflicting information on whether they have or not- saying they can’t find the transactions) and the credit card company are saying they have no info on me and tui haven’t refunded anything. 

I’ve been on and off the phone to tui and the credit card company every day so far and have got nowhere with any of them. 

Someone please help me? I’m at my wits end and I don’t know what else or who else to talk to! Please no negative comments.
