While it wouldn't do any harm to report this to Action Fraud, the most productive response is likely to be to take out protective registration with CIFAS, which will minimise the prospects of your details being used by whoever now has them....

Even if you suspect your details are out there.   You can do several things.  Have a look at the Action Fraud advice
https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/individual-protection  follow the link to Protect My ID on their web page ProtectMyID
https://www.experian.co.uk/consumer/identity.html   and you may end up forking out around £6.99 a month. This is for reactive protection.

    OR for proactive protection:

Did you know you can password protect your credit file?  Something the Credit Reference Agencies don't publicise. You can do this via the Notice of Correction facility.  (More details if required).
Or check out the following https://www.freeidprotection.co.uk/

Forgot to mention. CIFAS Protective Registration is £25 for 2 years.  It doesn't reach all those who access your credit file. Only CIFAS members (most banks and financial institutions.
Weigh up the pros and cons of all of the above and decide what's best for you.
Hope you find this helpful.  Good luck.

Highly unlikely you'll get a reply @James , the OP hasn't been back in the 5 months from when they posted this.
