Can companies invest in NSandI or is it restricted to individuals?

Please help! I have tried to open an NS&I savings account. The system won't let me register as it says I am already registered but then on asking what my password but they are sending the password reset to an OLD email that I closed due to hacking but I can't get NS&I to accept a new registration as they say I am registered already It is asking online for an account number, I don't have this as any account is years old and defunct. So I rang, they won't help other than sending a track and trace form. I have received the form eventually (so slow) and now this form shows no way of tracking any password or telling them my email has changed so I still cannot log on. This savings account offer will disappear at this rate. It is disgusting that I have so many hoops to go through with so little help from NS&I. It should not matter that I had an old account. They are blocking me in every direction0

Hi,even if you have Premium bonds with them it's the same account number. Is this the Income Bond at 1.16%, once they get enough money in the rate will probably be cut, Marcus still at 1.05% and they've already had a couple of cuts.1

Don't confuse the OP! The only common datum is the "NS&I number". Account numbers differ from investment to investment.

see ns&i section on problems logging in (google it)
see the section 'forgotten answers to security questions' - they will send you a temporary password for you to login with and reset everything
"you can download and complete an ‘Online and phone service forgotten security details’ form. Send it to us and we will post you a temporary password to the address on our records. You’ll then need to log in to change the temporary password to one of your own choice and reset your security questions."1 -
The above post may well be the OP's easiest solution but for what it's worth, a decade ago, I used to have an index bond with them and also had £100 premium bonds with them taken out in 2006. I had forgotten all my online details apart from my premium bond number. I registered online for a new account and it asked me lots of obscure security questions such as bank accounts I'd created over 10 years ago and then relinked my NSandI online account back up with my new one. I then went in and changed my old email address from years ago to my new one and reset my security questions.
