    Why don't you take it in turns to choose the evening 's entertainment? You can do quizzes, jigsaws, play games, watch a film you wouldn' necessarily have chosen...

    Not a game, but possible 'entertainment', why not split into teams of 2 people to make a 3 course meal for everyone? We used to do this when children. If you set a budget etc, it can be fun and competitive (in a good way) accepting you need plenty of time to plan and source ingredients, plus can help teach budgeting to children and if you have a wide age range, get inter-generational co-operation.

    Avalon and Spyfall (both card based games) play well with 7 people.
    Avalon is best when seated around a table, Spyfall more relaxed so doesn't need to be at a table.
