Last Minute/Thomas Cook

Please can anyone offer advise on a Thomas Cook flight booked through Last Minute. As TC went into liquidation LM advised we would receive a refund. This was last September & we still haven’t received the refund. We paid by credit card but bank won’t refund as we paid LM not TC direct. As it was flight only it wasn’t covered by an ATOL certificate. We are getting no where with LM, sent numerous e mails & letters but not getting anywhere. Have we lost our money? It’s £1.4k so quite a bit to just write off. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

    You should contact the CAA if LM is not responding at all. Their email address is claims@caa.co.uk, whilst the CAA are not responsible to refund as the contact was with LM, they are the enforcement body and you should not have to wait this length of time for a refund.
