The best thing I won was about 9 years ago was an iPad 2 (it came with Beats headphones and a lady shaver ha). It still works, only use it to facetime my parents (need to win an upgrade ha!)

I won a Carlsberg football day experience, we went to Wembley to watch England, had free beer/soft drinks all day, a buffet with all the food made by Tom kerridge, plus Ex- England footballers were walking around, plus the Carlsberg sponsors at the time, I played a game of Fifa with Paddy Mcguiness, great day lol! I've also won a new bed which was great and some small cash prizes so I consider myself very lucky!
Wins for 2022: Hydratem8 Water bottle, diary, flowers, Good food show tickets, childrens books x3,
Thanks to all who post the comps & please let the comping fairy sprinkle dust on my entries!

£500 from one of the magazine puzzle comps, although it was won in my mum's name so we split it 50/50.

This is in 3 years of comping, as it will be my 3 year anniversary on the 26th.
  • Have never won any money, but probably the most useful was £2,000 of furniture of my choice(from local newspaper). Enjoyed most; holiday in a villa in Majorca(from this forum). It has also been nice to give away some things to family, etc.

I've been comping on and off since 2006. I've been extremely lucky over the years £1500 &£1000 within months of each other.
In the early days of comping prizes would be landing through my door every week, In the last year ive won a cookbook and a pen but i count myself very very lucky.
but my best win was with the Sunday times in 2013. 3 nights 5 star break in Istanbul bed and breakfast including flights from London. I took my sister who had moved to London and I live up north. It was something we would never do together or afford.
    The hotel was beautiful,
The breakfast buffet was the most varied and plentiful i had ever seen, We were introduced to the chef who said he could make us whatever we wanted. Istanbul was somewhere i never thought of going to it really was beautiful.
