It wasn't through the comp board, but was a Radio Clyde(West of Scotland) phone in about 20 years ago where I won a Med Cruise, this was the star prize over the week, there was individual winners each day for other prizes.  Also got to a final to win a Mitsubishi 4x4 with the same radio station, but didn't win, there were about 40 people in the final in a shopping centre!
Also won a few smaller prizes on here, biggest being a Vodafone mobile phone, tablet and some top up cards for the phone from LBC, cinema prizes etc.
Outside of the comps I did win about £2500 on Euromillions a good few years ago, best thing from that was buying an American style Fridge Freezer which I'd always wanted.
I hardly seem to win anything these days, but still do it, as I enjoy the entering and gives me something to do.  I always wonder if it's the email address I use being Hotmail but think it's just the luck.
Thanks to all the competition posters.

I enter whatever comes my way, but don't really seek out competitions to enter - though maybe I should.

My best win is a toss up between a year's worth of free tea from last year (ended up being about 360 tea bags in various flavours - very handy), or a win from the Design Museum I had a couple of years ago which included 2 tickets to each exhibition they had on, £100 to spend in the shop, and dinner for 2 at the onsite restaurant (which was 4 courses, a martini, and a bottle of wine - I think about £150). Have yet to win anything this year!
    Make £2025 in 2025 total £241.75/£2025

I would LOVE to win a years worth of tea! Although I drink so much tea I'm not sure 360 would last me a whole year haha

It came in 2 lots luckily! The first lot had all the flavours they made, and the 2nd a few months later I was allowed to pick which ones I wanted. Definitely didn't last me a whole 12 months though, technically it was a year ago at the beginning of May but I haven't had any in the house since before Christmas!

  • I once won a hair brush for my cat. It was only a small thing, but he loved being brushed by it and it brought him loads of pleasure, so that is by far my best ever win.
I wish I had thought of a better user name as this makes me sounds greedy :( It was meant more tongue-in-cheek.

Mine was a few years ago I won a bedroom makeover.  The finished bedroom was more than I would ever have dreamed of.  The designer really interpreted what we would like plus.  It was wow.

I had another WOW win last year.  We won two nights in a five star hotel in central London. They gave us the Wow suite and it was Wow, massive.  Plus tickets to the theatre and hotel spar treatments.  We had a wonderful time.
