Can you negotiate a settlement figure with your credit card company to pay of your card in full or would they only agree to the full amount. Not sure if this is even an option so wanted to ask. Many thanks

Many thanksNot sure what you're trying to say?"Can you negotiate a settlement figure with your credit card company to pay of your card in full or would they only agree to the full amount"It reads to me you want them to agree to you paying the full amount by agreeing to pay the full amount?Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0

Why would your card issuer let you pay less than what you are contractually obliged to pay?...
Are you in difficulty in general? Do you need advice?...

Hi, you won't be able to negotiate on your card if you have been paying the instalments and have the funds to pay them. People that pay a reduced amount in "full and final settlement" have stopped paying and defaulted and their debts have usually been sold on. They have trashed their credit record.
If you are having trouble paying instalments some cards are offering payment breaks at the moment due to the current economic issues. (you would need to agree this with them) Although if you are looking to settle the bill it sounds like you can pay the instalment. Credit cards don't want their money back fast. They make a lot of interest by people being in debt for decades.0 -
This must be a wind up designed to get people's backs up which is happening judging by the replies.0
