Am I entitled to a refund

I ordered a gift from ‘personalisedgiftsshop.co.uk’ at the beginning of April, delivery was attempted on 7th April but returned to sender as no one was there to accept it apparently. I have emailed the company 3 times to chase only to be told they haven’t received it back and until they do they can’t offer a replacement or refund.
Am I within my rights to demand a refund?
