AA Savings - problem with withdrawal to linked account

Withdrawal requested Monday but no sign of it in linked account on Tuesday, Wednesday or today. Requested another withdrawal yesterday and this is showing in linked a/c OK.

Thought I'd better call them and after a long wait finally got through. They didn't go through security but simply asked if the withdrawal request was made on Sunday or Monday as they have a known problem with these and are working on it! They had no idea when the missing funds might turn up in the linked a/c.

email from them later yesterday saying funds would be in the bank today which has proved to be correct.

AA Savings use Bank of Ireland as their provider (same as Post Office money do), so unfortunately that means unreliable internet banking and poor customer service. If you have a search through this forum you'll see issues like yours are common for Post Office customers, AA savings us just a different band name.
