Universal Credit - New PSN?

Options
Hi,
I had to re-apply for universal credit yesterday, having previously claimed 2 years ago and also used the portal last year for tax credits.
After verifying my Identity, I went to log in and it asked for numbers from my PSN which I no longer have (assuming it was the same one before). The help page said to phone, but couldn't get through so clicked block on and received an email saying I have requested a new PSN.
Anyone know how long this will take???? As I also received an email saying I need to sign in and check my Journal for a notification relating to my claim

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the above, but if you have an email confirmation that a new PSN has been requested, then that's a good sign.
There is currently an new (lockdown) process for reissuing PSNs by email. You should receive it within about a week, sent to your registered email address.

Hi , what number did you ring ? Or what did you say ? I not used universal credit for 3 years. I don't even remember having a psn number. I rang up but they said a account become closed after 6 months so I need new email , which I find rather stupid.

Your account hasn't closed, just the claim you made within that account.
If you log into your account using your username and password, you will be able to open a new claim.
If you do not remember your username and/or password, there are links on the login page to be sent reminders of your username and to reset your password. You will need access to your email address as this is where the information is sent.
If you were to try to open a new account (new username, new password, new email address), then yes, you would need a new email address because your existing email address is linked to the previous account and can only be used once.

But it asks for a Psn .which I never seen before or don't recall it... I can't make claim without this

You will have been given a printout with your PSN at your initial ID appointment of your first claim, assuming it was pre-pandemic.
