Seiss

My husband has been self employed since April 2018, his tax return was £27000 for the full year, obviously this year's is lower and not taken into account. He's eligible for a grant but they have completely miscalculated his average income. He has been given a grant for £1300 this is two weeks average pay he was paye employed in 2016/17 and 2017/18 yet his grant has been split over the last three years. This is fundamentally wrong and unfair.

You need to appeal, if he declared no self employment income in 2016/17 and 2017/18.

I think there's more to this....even if they split £27k over 3 years, the award would have been greater than £1300.
