Credit card missed payments

I put an agreement in place with my credit card company to lower my monthly payments due to being on maternity leave and not being able to afford the big monthly payment they ask for. They put this agreement in place until I was due to go back to work. Last month my credit score had a missed payment on it, I paid the amount agreed so a little annoyed they have done this, check again this month and there is now two missed payments.  Any advice on what’s best to do in this situation? I can’t seem to find a credit card that will expect me now due to this , I’m gutted that years of building my credit score up has now been effected by this company when all I have done is gone on leave to have a baby :(

It's probably better that they've marked it as missed payments than an arrangement, at least in the short term.

You could ask them to back date a default if you think the situation will continue, but you'll probably need to miss a few more payments.

Once you start missing payments, you won't get accepted for any mainstream cards so don't worry too much about how it's marked.

If you are not meeting the agreed minimum but rather on a reduced payment then the only way it will not affect your credit score is if the statement minimum payment is the agreed amount of what you are paying. if not then you are going to get hit on your credit file. I would suck it up and pay the minimum, if it leaves you short then you will have to use the available credit.
you should head over to the debt free area and post SOA or if you do have the option to move the balance to a 0% until after maternity then look to do so.

And sorry to sound harsh is isnt all you have done, you have spent on credit and not been able to meet the minimum payments or repay the debt owed. Credit isnt free money!
