I have just had a large sum of money returned from a holiday company to my Halifax MasterCard, when I try to transfer this to my Halifax current account they want to charge me 4% fee. How can I get this money without fees.

Contact Halifax and ask them to process it as a credit balance refund.0
-
Or look at the Covid 19 section on the website where it will tell you to make the transfer - pay the fee - then it automatically gets refunded within 28 days ............or hang around for hours on the phone.0

You can also use manufactured spend methods - have a look online for ideas and pick one that works for you.0

I had the same issue and sent a message in the app which was replied to and sorted within a couple of hours.0
