Wimbledon 2020 refunds

Hi all. Sorry if this is in the wrong category or if it should not be on this forum, but can anyone out there tell me how long the maximum time is before we receive refunds on this event. I was told on the 1st april 2020 via email that the event was cancelled and to expect full refund by the end of april, but 6 weeks later I am still waiting. Has anyone received their refunds? I cant seem to find anywhere that states refunds has to be made in a specific time frame. Any help would be appreciated, except the people who moan about this post and tell me to give the lta time and patience. They are quick enough to demand the money for the event if you want the tickets!

why don’t you ask the LTA?

Did ask the lta and got the usual ‘please be patient we are working on it with the aeltc’. I was wondering if there was a time frame that refunds had to be issued within by law.

I don’t believe there is a law on timeframes and as Wimbledon was planned for July it’s probably fair enough for them to not refund you until then

Have you ascertained how many tickets were sold and how many folk are working in their office?  Once you have done that you can then make a stab at how long it will take them to work through the backlog.
