Wages after furlough

We were furloughed on 24 March -when we were paid our March salary we only received the 80% even though we had worked for almost the full month. Should we have received full payment for the first 24 days of the month?
my employer advised they were not in a financial position to make the extra 20% of our salary up so I am concerned that they will try and claim the furlough payment as long as possible
I am expecting to get recalled to work in the next week or so , should my employer be paying me my full wage from the date I return ?
If not and they are only paying the 80% can I refuse to go back until 1st of the month

How much do you value your job? Sounds as if your employer is in financial difficulty as many are. Once you return to work the picture will no doubt become much clearer.0

You are entitled to be paid 100% of the salary you earned prior to you agreeing to be furloughed (and presumably agreeing to a 20% pay cut). Once you have agreed to the pay cut, if you are called back to work, they need only pay you at 80% until your contract of employment is amended to put you back up to 100%.0
