When will my MOT be due?

    Waste of time and money, IMHO, using council services, a 3 year old car is not going to fail on very much (if anything), and if you ask around for recommendations you would find an Honest Joe's MOT who was local and quite possibly cheaper and offering a free (or reduced price) retest.

    In my experience a council tester is far more likely to be very strict and fail you on things that other test stations would either overlook or advise on.

    I thought the first MoT ran from the date you had it done but I 'm prepared to be shown the DVLA's info to the contrary.;)

    It's not usually necessary to have a V5 these days, but safer to bring it just incase.
