Hi
Me and my partner want to buy our first home, however wanted peoples opinions on buying a home during the current situation with covid 19.
In my local area we got a new Taylor Wimpey site which came up last year, we found the perfect house, however we was not in a position to buy at the time. However driving past today a for sale board has now appeared on both of the property's.
How long can you 'reserve' a taylor wimpey property? I believe it is fully built and ready to move in however we will not have the deposit till end of next month (june) I have had a look and it seems taylor wimpey like to rush and get the sale completed!
Will there be delays in buying a house at the moment with everything going on?
Im sorry for the questions, just a confused first time buyer!
Many thanks for any replies
Becky

Yes i mean all developers like to rush, but the baseline for buying a house is still months, not weeks.Rebecca5833 said:HiMe and my partner want to buy our first home, however wanted peoples opinions on buying a home during the current situation with covid 19.In my local area we got a new Taylor Wimpey site which came up last year, we found the perfect house, however we was not in a position to buy at the time.
