HMO Houses in Multiple Occupation Women vs Men vs Young or Old

I can't get any information regarding the pros and cons of different types of tenants. Especially the different sexes.

That's because it would be unlawful to discriminate in such a manner...

I believe it is acceptable to have HMOs of a single-sex.

I cant put it any clearer than this - if you discriminate against tenants based upon their gender, you are breaking the law.

Your beliefs are irrelevant to this.

In the majority of cases, this is what HMOs seem to do.

Just thoroughly research any prospective tenants.  There will be good and bad examples of any grouping.  What you are looking for is a personality type, not a group.  Remember the saying "there are lies, damned lies, and statistics".

Look for androgynous beings with 11 blue spots on their faces and you'll be safe because the place will be empty. Otherwise there will never be any guarantees.

Mind you, you'd better watch out for cosplay/comicon events nearby.., all could change then
