Why would you chase it up? If they don't get back to you then you can assume your offer has flatly rejected.abanksee said:How long would people leave it before chasing up an offer after re-offering lower?

Not necessarily, my friend chased his up after a week when he offered 7% off and they said yes then.Unicorn_cottage said:

The house I'm trying to renegotiate on is still down as sold etc, so think theyd get back to even say no.0 -
Why would they get back to you to say no? There is nothing to say.abanksee said:

I'm sorry, how is that a personal insult? I just asked if you regularly ignored people. Which would be what the vendor was doing under your scenario, I highlighted how that was unlikely as you wouldnt do that.Unicorn_cottage said:

Maybe the Estate Agent knows you are a chancer? Just accept you haven't got the property and move on.abanksee said:

A chancer? 50% deposit for the property and no chain. Doesnt matter if people are chancers or not, of that's the highest offer you receive it's either sell or remarket which is what we offered them to do.Unicorn_cottage said:

Why don't we have a charity wager on whether I secure the property with a discount or not?0 -
Polite sensible sellers probably would, especially as they might need the buyer again in future. Not everyone spits their dummy at reasonable business/economic common sense.Unicorn_cottage said:
