Morrisons have introduced a national price cap for all their supermarket petrol stations of 99.7p/litre (104.7p/litre for Diesel).

    This is information.   

    Advertising is typically something else:   like if I'd said that their petrol was the best petrol, smelt of flowers and/or was the cheapest.

    Lower prices are always welcome but unless you are a high mileage driver then they make little difference in the grand scheme of things.  Besides, Mr & Mrs Average are already saving by not driving so much during lockdown so can't take as much advantage of cheaper fuel.  As travelling increases we can be sure that fuel prices will creep up as well.

    Only for emergency service vehicle fleets not the workers private vehicles

    Free sandwiches for key workers from Shell garages who do Jamie Oliver Deli. Been nice being able to pop into the motorway services and get a free sarni on my way back from Scotland.
