Hey all
Looks gorgeous out but its still chilly so had the heating on for an hour being the wimp I am Up early to secure mums shopping slot so thats over for another week. She is eating strange combinations atm which used to stress me to the core but now I am just glad she's eating anything and is safe. Yesterday when I rang her she was having ginger nuts and edam cheese for lunch hey ho
Taff top result on the fajitas v. impressed
TA I had an Iceland delivery too this morning. Mostly OK bar some chicken breasts I wanted for a Tikka masala. Rapid re think and it's fakeaway IKEA meatballs now.
Rubes Dont push it pain is a sign all is not perfect yet so make sure you give you're body a break too
Gers I use Amazon playlists too they usually have me singing and wobbly dancing too
Today will be another fun packed non stop day here.....the bins need emptying and the DW needs filling. I had a laughable hospital appointment by phone this week for of all things an eye test. They wanted to check if my eyes had been affected by the stroke but of course can't do normal eye tests. She asked me if I thought it had changed my vision and when I said no I didn't think so she discharged me as no effect. I know its tough atm but I will be booking a normal optician eye test when I can to
make sure.
Looking forward to my next smear test via a telephone conversation
Enjoy your day all13 -
Morning all, back to gloomy and blummin cold here and that chill to the bone wind is back.We seem to have inherited a glut of baby birds overnight. There are blackbirds and sparrows galore on the patio, one blackbird has already tried to get in through the patio doors, had a bit of a shock though as they were closed. I could spend hours watching them..........and probably will as my get up and go, has already got up and gone.I did put in a few jigsaw pieces yesterday while listening to some 80's music, I've already done the 60's and 70's this lockdown, so it's time to move with the times. I played Fortnite on the X box with Mr Fix It and the DGS last night, we played squads and won the whole match. DGS likes to look after me and keeps me safe in the game so Mr Fix It asked him what nan's are good for......... without hesitation he said that this nan was needed for baking and looking after people. Glad to be of serviceWe had to fix our new fence panel too as it had worked itself loose in the wind and we noticed that something has been burying under it too, my money is on a fox as the hole was quite big. Can't think of anything else it could be.Today is another cba day, but I will show willing and hoover downstairs then get Mr Fix It to steam mop the kitchen again. I cleaned the bathroom and bleached the kitchen sinks yesterday and that was it.taff I wouldn't mind the shopping spend but we've already had a Morries delivery of £120 only 2 weeks ago.TA I hope you get your strawberries..... I have some on order for tomorrows delivery as I didn't get any from Morries.Redbuby what did you do ? Now take things slowly...... that's an order.Nelski you're missing again I believe. Hope you're ok and have a gentle squidgy hug from your BFF. You've probably posted since I started this about an hour ago, so ignore me if so. Yep I was right you've been and gone, I'm such a slow-coach lately.Camelot I think MM was on late last night.Take care all, stay safe and keep well.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently14

NAN I did get the hokey cokey strawberries after all yum yum! I didn't get carrots, bread or Thins. But I did get bagels and wraps and as I still have some bread in the freezer there is no panic! DD will pick up my slack when she goes shopping after work tomorrow or Friday.
It still feels bloomin' cold today. Roll on the warmer weather that's supposed to be on its way! I am in need of sitting out in the sun again xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -

A definite chilly wind today. Went on my bike ride to post a parcel. Hard work there but a breeze back!I used the Royal Mail Click and Drop whereby you print out the label having paid on line for a small parcel. The Royal Mail have installed a Click and Drop Parcel post box within cycling distance, near the sorting office and it has been very useful to me. Previously I had to go into town to the PO, which was always a bit of a trek. As the daughters are working from home, they can receive the parcels, when hitherto they couldn't as they were in the office during delivery times. Bonus for lockdown, albeit a minor one.Hope all are keeping well.11
