Sink question

Options
Hi all,
So I am changing the sink and tap as it is not very good condition any longer.
I will be buying the same size sink to fit in the same position.

My question is do I need to buy new pumbling kit?? What do I buy with it? Please can you list.
Thank you

What do I buy with it? Please can you list.
1 length of 15mm copper pipe
    2 15mm isolating valves
2 flexi tails for taps (if not supplied with taps)
PVA to seal edge of worktop (if mdf)
Silicone to seal new sink into place
Strainer wastes if not supplied with sink
1 McAlpine or similar trap/waste set (ones supplied with sinks, even Franke, are rubbish)
1 length of 40mm solvent weld waste pipe
    Waste pipe joint/bends as required
    Solvent cement

    Is this a joke?
If the tap is connected with flexible hoses, then a new pipe is unlikely to be required.
Isolating valves are *possibly* already there.
Waste parts *can* be compression or push-fit. No solvent cement is needed in this case. For connecting to the existing pipe solvent weld is best to be avoided.

And you forgot two spanners for 15mm compression fittings.
  • I'm planning to get a plumber to fix it on for me so I still need to buy all of this too? Thanks

No it's not a joke @grumbler I just have no experience in it.

Just buy the sink and tap. Lol

If you are getting a plumber to fit then all else will be supplied. You pay for materials and fitting.
