A lot of the portfolio i shared some months ago had lot of small amounts in various bond funds that i inherited from my mum. Whilst i do obviously want a want bonds in my portfolio especially at this time, will a multi asset fund invest in a range of cherry picked selection of bonds suitable for the economic cycle or will it again just follow on a broad range of all bonds
Whilst I am doing this now is it a better idea to transfer into my new investments using another provider as i am conscious of the fact HL are not the cheapest platform to be using. Or would it be better to do it all with HL and then transfer the portfolio over to another platform0 -
If you intend to switch platform/provider, it is probably simpler to sell existing holdings, move the cash and purchase your newly chosen investments on the new platform rather than puchasing them and then trying to switch existing holdings.
