TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “KISS x Ibiza Lockdown” (On-Air Competition).

 

These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

 

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN  The on-air prize winners will be those persons who successfully score the most points at the end of the week.

Entrants must pre register at kissfmuk.com / planetradio.co.uk/ kiss and tell us a summer story.

Each entry will be judged by a panel consisting of a producer, a presenter and an independent judge and based on their entry meeting the following criteria:

•             Matching the brief of telling us their summer story

•             Their story being entertaining, unique and on brand for KISS.

Entrants will be shortlisted based on the above criteria. The producers will contact the shortlist and find out more about the entrant and their group of friends. A final two entrants will then be selected to go to the final round. They will be judged on the following criteria:

Appeal for the show – providing entertainment value

Availability – entrant and all 4 friends must be all able to take part in the competition rounds at a time stipulated by the producer

Please note that a person may be spoken to on the phone and shortlisted by a member of the KISS production team during the course of the competition, but this does not make them a winner or a finalist.

Two teams will be selected from the shortlist to go through to the next stage.

For the next stage, each day one person will come to air from each team. They will then be set a series of challenges. The two team members will have to play against each other to win the most points.

At the end of the week the team who have won the  most points will be. if they have an equal amount of points there will be a tie breaker question given. The team who answers the tie breaker closest to the answer will win the prize.

 

By entering this competition you are agreeing to allow Bauer Media to use your voice on air and in station imaging that may be produced subsequently.

 

2.Entry Platforms and Costs         (A)    Pre-register details on KISSFMUK.COM

(B)     Successful entrants will be brought to air to play on air during the KISS Breakfast show (0600 – 1000) daily from Monday 18th May - Friday 22nd May 2020. 

 

3. DATES              Start Date and End Date.

Pre-registration will be open 5pm 12th May 2020 until 17th May at 12:01pm.

The daily competition round will be aired every day during the dates stated in item 2 between 0600 and 1000

The winner will be announced on air on Friday 22nd May

Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid.

 Winner Announcement. The name and the home town of the winner(s) will be announced on on-air after each competition round.

 

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS •             Open to UK residents.

•             You must be aged 18 or over.

•             Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, incl. the Prize Provider, must not enter.

•             Entrants made by someone who has won a competition on any Bauer Radio Station, to the value of £500 or more in the last 6 months will be disqualified.

•             Entrants must all have access to a pair of headphones to participate

 

5. THE PRIZE       On-air Prizes

There will be 5 winners (the winning team) who will each receive 1 prize package consisting of:

1 x £100

1 x Amazon Echo Dot Smart Speaker

1 x O Beach Ibiza Package consisting of:

 1 x bottle of 70cl Ciroc

                1 x O Beach cup

                1 x O Beach glass

                2 x O Beach pieces of merchandise

                1 x bottle club bottle opener and cap

                1 x inflatable

Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.

Please note the OBeach Hamper may take more than 28 days to arrive due to Covid 19

               

 

OTHER CONDITIONS

 

1.            DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize.  Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry or text STOP if entering via SMS. 1.            INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1.            MISCELLANEOUS.

a)       Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.

b)       One entry per person.

c)       If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.

d)       We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

e)       You are responsible for all costs of entry.

g)     You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.

h)     Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.

i)      As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition.

 

We may end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
