Red Route PCN 65seconds didn't get out of the car

Hi all,
I have received a PCN fro TFL today, it was on a day I was returning from volunteering with COVID-19 food supply charity prepraing food boxes for the needy . On my way home, I was following a friend of mine when he pulled over, I followed him he came out of the car came over to me and asked me if I knew the way as his phone battery was dead. We carried on, I didn't even leave my car and we were on our way. I have a few issues such as the road signs were not facing oncoming traffic, there's no visible sign warning that CCTV enforcement is in use. I would be ever so grateful for some pointers as it isn't only me who has to pay this fine but my friend also.

As this is tfl , join pepipoo fightback forums using a non Hotmail email address and post in their relevant section after reading the posting requirements , bearing in mind there is no stopping allowed on red routes

As above , none of what you mentioned is a valid reason for stopping on  a TFL red route.

They will have video and photos to back it up as the traffic cameras are used for enforcement

Could it be a 'red route bay' though (only certain hours) ?

I got my niece off a TFL red route bay CCTV PCN because the camera operator failed to zoom in on the sign, at all.

If it was a red route 24/7 it's irrelevant about any sign.  I just wanted the OP to confirm if it was a red route bay, perhaps, which are not 24/7 and are bound by signage that the CCTV images/video must zoom in on.

The OP needs to ask on pepipoo about their case, showing their photos and letters to those expert posters.
