My Daughter bought a second hand car from a dealer in Dec 2019. The timing belt has snapped and dealer said its not covered under the warranty. Any advice 😌

Timing belts are normally classed as consumable items that need replacing at set intervals and aren't generally covered by a warranty.
How old is the car and what model is it? what sort of mileage has it done? and has the timing belt ever been changed?0
