Furlough for NHS Dental nurses

PF
Apologies if this has been covered already but we are confused as to whether our daughter, who is a dental nurse for a NHS practice, could be receiving furlough pay. She is currently not receiving any pay at all.
She was first told that she would either have to be deployed to another NHS hospital (including Nightingale hospitals) or receive 50% of pay if furloughed. This then changed to being deployed for NHS or no pay/no furlough. (The practice manager said they could furlough two members of staff only over the five practices they have). We have two people in our house who are vulnerable plus she suffers from bad anxiety attacks too, so decided that 'self isolation would be best for all..
Is anyone able to advise if she is or isn't entitled to furlough (the dental practice has not replied to her queries)? Or what may be the best way forward for her?
Thank you.

It's nothing to do with "entitlement", Furlough is entirely in the gift of the employer. If she is indeed an NHS worker then they are not supposed to be furloughed anyway.0

The fact that the practice undertakes dental treatment work on behalf of the NHS. Doesn't equate to NHS employment for your daughter.1

She isn't a real NHS employee is she? She's employed by a dental partnership which contracts to the NHS. Unless this is a direct NHS run practice (I believe a few exist).

I think the problem is they are majority NHS funded as they can only furlough so many members of staff. Did they say why they can only furlough 2 members of staff? As I would guess that is why.
Although if they do not want to furlough her it does not really matter as you can’t make them.
The best thing she can do in the meantime is see what benefits she may be entitled to
