Baywindow conversion

Hi
I have a single glazed bay window which id like to have converted to french doors but retaining the bay
Its 4 panes so the end result would be doors in the center 2 panes and the two side panes double glazed (either keeping the size with 1/3 being brick or making them full ceiling to ground windows)
The size of the bay opening is roughly 2.7m x 2.7m
Before I get various companies in to provide quotes im just wondering if anyone has done this and a rough idea of the price (so I know if its even worth it)
<£1000
£1000-£2000 etc
(im not after an actual quote, just an idea)
Thanks
Chris

We did it in a previous home, so long ago that the price would be meaningless as a guide.
I just wanted to say consider carefully how you would dress the window. We had a double door in the centre opening outwards and windows either side with brick covering the lower third. We made the lower third of the windows a solid fill to the same level as the window sills, so we could have curtains that opened across the whole lot. The other option is to have full length curtains covering all 4 window/ doors.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
