Hi,
I have bought some chocolates on sale however discount stickers were put in a way that made it impossible to read ingredients.
Had allergic reaction that lasted around 10 days. Gp saying to take pills.
Now as a consumer can I make claim via small court claim for damage?
Is there some website that outlines how to write claim properly, outlining a type of damage and what kind of sum is reasonable to ask for?
I have receipts and chocolates with discount stickers, the ones I didn't eat, plus can ask GP to print my file.

I think that you’re going to struggle to get compensation, as I think that this is down to you, not the shop. If you know that you have allergies then choosing to buy something with the ingredients obscured to save a few pennies is pretty foolish.
What are you allergic to?5 -
Have you previously had an allergic reaction to anything, including chocolates? If so were all the packs covered in these stickers?
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.1 -
Did you already know you were allergic to the ingredient?
If so why didn't you remove the reduced sticker or check another pack before purchase?
If not, being able to read the ingredients wouldn't have made a difference.
What did the store say when you contacted them?
If you want to make a claim via small claims court you need to provide details of a loss. What financial impact has this had on you?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear2 -
Highly suspicious post ..😀2

I don't have any allergies but I am a coeliac and certainly wouldn't be eating pre packaged food where I couldn't check the ingredients list. It's a sort of odd thing to eat something blindly knowing you have allergies and just not caring what you were eating.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi,
I recently attempted to cross a main road. However, parked cars made it impossible for me to easily see any oncoming traffic so rather than take a bit of extra time to ensure my safety and well being, I simply ploughed ahead to try to get across.
I suffered a bit of a serious reaction when I was hit by a number of vehicles and as a result, I have been laid up for the last 10 days.
Could someone recommend a No win, no fee lawyer to take on my case? and how much compo am I entitled to?
What's the difference?8 -
