I write further to your email below.

We note the contents of your email however, it was not correct to send your defence to us directly.

If a response is not on the Court file within the relevant timeframe given in the response pack, Judgment will be requested in default.

If you do not understand the content of this email, we recommend you seek independent legal advice.

Tempting to write back and tell them to read your LETTER not your DEFENCE and, if they don't understand the contents, suggest that they seek professional help!

    Dear Sirs

Further to your email/letter dated xxxx

You appear to be confused with a letter asking on what legal authority you have to add unlawful amounts, and a defence ?  Of course my full defence is sent to the court and there will not be a default judgment.

You have failed to explain your legal authority to add unlawful amounts. I must now consider your claim to be unreliable and will ask the court to strike out your claim for abuse of process.

Note, that my previous letter, your letter and this letter will be brought to the attention of the judge on the day.  I strongly suggest  you now consider your situation in this matter

    Yours faithfully,

I think this part needs adjusting.
You appear to be confused with a letter asking on what legal authority you have to add unlawfull unlawful amounts, and a defence ?  Of course my full WS Defence is has been sent to the court and their there will not be a default judgement Judgment.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I've already built them into the quote. Just a bit of tidying up.

I HATE the tone of DCBL letters and emails.  They really are nasty IMHO.
