I am a key worker in a ncare home, currently taking time off to care for my terminally Iill hubby going through his 3rd course of chemotherapy.
i am worried about returning to work, and then putting my husband at risk.
Universal credit are already on to me about returning to work, even thought his is the first time I have ever put a claim in.
I'm torn
I have been off work for 6 weeks.

Lots of people still work and have done so since lockdown was put into place. They also live with vulnerable people and still continue to work, making sure they stick to strict hygiene rules.

UC have currently suspended all work requirements so I don’t understand this.mexico2012 said:Universal credit are already on to me about returning to work, even thought his is the first time I have ever put a claim in.
OP, you say your husband is terminally ill. Does he get Personal Independence Payment? If he does you need to tell UC that you are his carer. Not only would this mean that you would not be required to work but it would also increase your UC entitlement.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.2
