Honda Jazz - family car?

If you're thinking about Fords, I've recently been a rear seat passenger in a Kuga. It seemed like a lovely car, offering nice views from being higher up. Not sure about the C-Max, although I understand it's based on the Mk2 Focus, which is what I've got. They are excellent, in my opinion, good to drive and mine's been reliable too.0

It's all very well fitting the passengers in but don't forget about the luggage requirements if you wish to stay somewhere. Particularly with teenagers!0

£3.5k to £4k for a 10-y-o- Jazz is silly money.
However ... the Jazz is surprisingly spacious for a small car - much more spacious than equivalent cars like the Corsa or Polo. And the boot is relatively cavernous ... we went on holiday once (2 adults, 15-y-o and 11-y-o) and we put all the luggage in the boot of our old Jazz to go to the airport. When we got the other side (Menorca) and went to pick up our hire car (a Renault Laguna) we found we couldn't get all the luggage in the boot.2 -
I have a Honda Jazz and love it. My kids (11&13) fit in comfortably. Not going to break any speed records, which is probably just as well for the M5 smart motorway bit. I bought mine from Newton Motors in Bristol. It was more expensive but that’s because it’s an automatic.0

There have been other "schemes" since then marketed as scrapage schemes, but they've merely been offers with manufacturer discounts - they've not been part of any official, government-led scrapage scheme. (I suspect that this is what the OP was thinking about).0

I meant more since the introduction of the scrappage schemes the used car market has changed, but even more so at some point over the last two years since I bought my last car, I think on a previous thread of mine it was suggested that the flooding earlier in the year contributed as those with damaged cars bought the cheap ones on the market.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

I have a Jazz, brought one in 2013 and have loved it, wouldn’t put 3 adults in the back as too small, but it’s so versatile. Part exchanged it for a brand new one at new year, don’t have the same love for the second one but it’s fine and has all the toys, most annoying thing is the stupid message that comes up every time you start saying you are responsible for anything and everything and unless you ok it you don’t get your display, won’t be buying another one with the message.0
