Bosch thermostat and boiler dropping connextion

Hi all,
Hoping someone can help. We had a Bosch green star combi boiler and EasyControl wireless thermostat fitted beginning of the year. Since then, the connection between the boiler and the thermostat has dropped a couple of times, and in the last week it has done it multiple times during the night and it’s triggering the boiler to turn on the heating. Our heating is so noisy when it comes on that it is waking the whole house up - the other day it came on and off five times from 3am until 5am! I have moved the thermostat so it’s in the room next to the boiler but the same issue happened last night so hasn’t helped. Turning the thermostat on and off at the wall doesn’t help either. I called Bosch today and they said they would only come out for urgent issues so now am at a loss. They suggested turning the temperature controls down on the boiler so that if the thermostat drops connection with boiler the heating won’t kick in but didn’t explain how. Is this possible even? Any other help please? I’m thinking we need to get a wired in thermostat if this is going to be an ongoing issue. Is it common in wireless thermostats?
thanks for reading and hope it makes sense!

What is the Eco mode set to for your hot water? Does your thermostat have an optimiser function?
Both of these can have the affect of your boiler coming on at random times of the day. If, for example, the Eco mode is not set then the boiler defaults to a preheat mode for your hot water and will fire up occasionally. Some thermostats have an optimiser function which works in a similar way as your hot water preheat and will start up the boiler before required.0 -
