Barclaycard Cashback refund credit timescale

Apologies for yet another holiday refund question.
I've been told today that a substantial refund left the provider's bank account on 5th May. I've no reason to doubt them as part refund was made to my husband's bank account & that was credited on 5th.
Does anyone have any experience of how long it takes to appear in transactions on Barclaycard Cashback card?. I know I'll have to phone them to request it goes to my bank, just hoping to avoid having to make 2 calls.

No idea but bear in mind 3 of the days since the 5th have been non-banking days.0

Yes, I understand that, but payments which I made to the card on 5th are showing as cleared, and purchases made on 9th & 10th are showing as 'pending'.
Just wondered if there was anything different in the processing of refunds which might explain the delay.0 -
Should be the same timescale. Unless they used faster payment/Bacs to the other account.Life in the slow lane0

Refund appeared in Barclaycard Cashback transactions late last night, shown as credited on 5th.
It definitely wasn't there @ 20.00. I've asked, via secure message, that they transfer it to bank account from which I pay it off by DD.0 -
Many credit card systems only update late at night & some not over weekends. So they are not real time like your bank account.badger09 said:Refund appeared in Barclaycard Cashback transactions late last night, shown as credited on 5th.

While it won't show transactions, they often show a increase/reduction of available funds.Life in the slow lane2 -
I case anyone is interested
By secure message on 12th, I asked Barclaycard to transfer the holiday refund to my bank account. I was told this would take 1 working day to action and should arrive within another working day, though if there were any security checks, it could take 5 working days.
Late night 12th, a transaction 'Direct Credit' appeared, for the full refund amount, returning my card balance to what it was before the refund arrived. The refund was credited to my current account early morning 13th.
This has been the most straightforward part of the whole refund claim process and I can't fault Barclaycard message response time0
