Holiday Refund - can I get my cash back from credit card without a fee?

I am about to arrange to have a cash refund from my cancelled holiday. As I paid on my credit card my refund will probably be paid back to my credite card. Am I able to get that cash back from the credit card company (Barclaycard) as I paid the balance off from my savings? I don't want the money as credit on my card, I would like it back in my savings account.

I didnt think that really needed explaining in my first post, but every day is a schoolday 🙄
Why on earth would you ring a travel company about a credit balance on your credit card?0 -

Wasn't sure if you meant contact the travel company to ask them to transfer the money into my bank account rather than my credit card. As I stated the money isn't in my credit card account yet, but I can see as my question is referencing credit cards I should have assumed thats what you meant.....silly me. 0
