Childcare Voucher Refunds

I've recently requested a refund of childcare vouchers. I changed my amount as soon as the Lockdown/school closures were announced. The system is slow so it took the max amount and I'm now £600 in credit. The issue is my daughter now has turned 3 so is entitled to 30 hours free so I don't need the build up. The vouchers are stuck. The company have flat refused to refund. Is there a way to appeal?
Thanks for reading, Tom
It's computervoucherservices I use and Boots Opticians.

Hello, Is there any way for a refund for childcare vouchers due to COVID 19? I stopped my payment into my account at the beginning of lockdown, but I still have a credit as he was due to use afterschool club. My son is in yr 6 and will no longer be using the afterschool clubs in secondary school and or holiday clubs. I now have a credit of vouchers due to the Coronavirus lockdown. I checked with my employer and Edenred and it looks as if I am stuck with these. Thank you for your help! Heather0

Hi!
I am also in this situation we have been putting away our voucher credits which were to be used this easter and summer. Clearly we are now not going to be using a holiday club during this time and child is soon to be of an age where they no longer need to attend holiday club, we will not have a need next year either. Seems really unfair that through no fault of our own we are now hundreds of pounds out of pocket.. which would be really helpful about now. Does anyone know of where we can obtain further advise or assistance. OH contacted HR and was told to use the vouchers elsewhere... but where?? we won't have a need!! any advice greatly received.0 -
I've overpaid a private nursery almost £700 from March-July for wrap-around care (I'd stupidly paid in advance via Childcare vouchers). They closed and now that my son is in High School, he can't attend there. They've said thay because I've paid in vouchers, I can't have anything back at all. Can this be legal?0

I paid my daughters primary school just over £300 in Childcare Vouchers as this is what the payments would be for After School Club from February to July. This was obviously before the COVID pandemic. I have contacted the school and they are more than happy to repay the Vouchers to Edenred but I have been in email correspondence with Edenred and they have basically told me to ask the school to send a cheque to my daughters new nursery/school. My daughter is 11 years old, is now at secondary school and does not require After School club. I am so angry about this. Why can't Edenred accept them from the primary school and then pay them to my employer. My employers are happy to repay me the money via my wages with the relevant tax and NI deductions. We could certainly do with the financial help at the present time. Surely Edenred could make an exception when we are in a pandemic!!0
