Refused inward bound flight refund

Jet 2 rang and agreed to refund us  our outward bound flights ,date 6th june 2020 to Spain, (though when and how,not confirmed)but refused us a refund on the inward bound flights 20th june.I thought we were in rights to be able to cancel all,as was all on same booking.Not a package holiday,so already lost money on villa.Please advise,as I was going to contact them by email  again.kim

Is it that they are yet to cancel the flights as far ahead as 20th June?  If they've just refunded the 6th June flights, is it reasonable to expect the refund for the return will follow two weeks from now?

They said flights going ahead from 17th june,so they have not cancelled those flights back.

Leave it alone for a couple of weeks you are getting in front of yourself.
Can you not do a charge back on your CC for the villa money ??

,unwilling to part with 2.5000 to pay rest of villa off last week,as knew outward flights had been cancelled,...I know,I know...,but already had to deal with thomas cook,and now this.....

Isn't that the answer then?  Those flights won't be happening so you'll get a refund when they're cancelled.

If you have booked flights on the same booking reference, then you are entitled to a refund on all flights on that booking if they cancel the outbound.  This is as per EC261.  Were they definitely booked together on the same booking?

You could get back in touch with them to request the refund for the return flights.  You could also consider a chargeback or Section 75 claim.  Although, to be honest, it might just be worth waiting until they do cancel flights after 17th June (which they will do).

Unless you made two separate single flight bookings,  Stands to reason  with a return flight booking, if  Jet 2 aren't taking you there, they are not bringing you back.   Think they are just playing for time with the amount of refunds they are giving.  Am sure you will get your refund nearer the time.

That's just what I was thinking,biding time,.They have just payed,  into our bank this morning,the costs of 11  flights outward,just gonna have to wait and beg for the inward bound flights,as they refused to refund all the booking,stating inward flights still running,20th...........
