Section 75 started......travel company now offering refund

I booked a package holiday for May 2020 via Destination 2 Ltd - As they ignored my calls and emails for weeks, I started a Section 75 with my card company. Destination 2 then called me last week stating a refund is on its way but will take 5 months. Do I continue with my claim or cancel it and await the refund? I need the money asap as I do not qualify for any of the government schemes and need some income which this will obviously help. Destination 2 claimed it will take them that long to get the money back from the hotel which I checked with them direct and they have not been paid anyway.

Continue it's only a promise, they might not deliver.
Did your CC company try a chargeback as they might have been quicker.
