Is anyone having the same problem as myself in not receiving any answers or money from their employer about the updated furlough date (19th March) I am now entitled to it and I have emailed my employer twice now to chase it up and been told they are still working on it, I’m worried there is a time limit on me being able to get it and I don’t want to miss it.

Not much else you can do except chase them up, not sure if there is an end date for claims yet.1

When did you first start working for the company?
what date did you get paid first?
Being pedantic you aren’t entitled to it, you might be eligible for it.1 -
I started on the 12th March and first got paid on the 24th March. Also sorry eligible for it is what I ment to say.0

Unless they ran the payroll by 19 March you are unlikely to be eligible.

You might be unlucky then being paid on the 24th. As you had to be on the system before then.1

Have you asked your employer what date they submitted their RTI information for March’s payroll?
To be eligible they would need to have submitted the information to HMRC by the 19th of March. If they hadn’t done that then you still aren’t eligible.
if they had submitted the RTI information in time bearing in mind that’s 7 days after you started working there and 5 days before payday then you’ve been pretty lucky their HR dept was so efficient. That doesn’t change the fact they still don’t have to furlough you.0 -
I am struggling to find out anything from them at the moment. I have sent another email asking for more information, I hope my next response is more informative from them. Thankyou for your help.0
