I enjoyed reading the thread on Scooby. Maybe posting details of other people who as far as we know are not involed in her scamming was not a great idea. BUT I am not putting you guys down I think what you are all doing is good and does teach scammers a lesson. Hope we do see it in the newspapers good luck and I hope that bloke gets his money back.

it's still on going. The OP should get his money back in 4 days if the echeque clears from the scammer. I think that's right sorry if it isn't. The scooby forum members are really funny and I just can't help going over there to look at the updates they post. They really have spread the word round the net. Some other forum they have posted on have been deleted as I think they upset the members there. I won't mention the site but it is where people like hightee do their scamming  so you would think it would be in the intrerest of that community to want to discuss it.
  • Can someone give me a basic outline of what happened? I'd love to know but it's run to 30+ pages and I don't have the time to read it all!
:D**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D

One of the Scooby guys got ripped off by her when buying a Wii on eBay - then a couple of them started chatting to her, I believe, and getting her to send pictures of herself etc. They've set up her own website with the pics she sent to them :rotfl: :rotfl:
