New York passes

Family holiday to New York Has been cancelled, no issues with refund for the holiday. However New York Pass, will not refund. Rules changed to 30 day Money back guarantee, purchased in January wasn’t traveling till May. It’s very unlikely my family will be able to reuse these passes in the next 2 years. Due to work commitments. Has anyone else had issues with getting money refunded for tickets or passes, anyone have any advice.
