credit karma

Just done my weekly check on credit file  and just noticed an update
In my file I have 2 accounts showing as caversham finance trading as brighthouse, I have never had any dealings with brighthouse, on clicking in it shows another Mr Steven brown with a date of birth as 1966 living in an address in Bristol I Am Mr Stephen Brown but with a different year of birth and living not in Bristol,

very good job I am not a master criminal as his full name, date of birth and full postal address is all available on my credit file

have tried to contact credit karma or transunion but only option is to raise a dispute, no sign of a contact number just an email form which says I will get a response in 14 days

Download your TransUnion statutory file (today's snapshot).  It is free.  Check what it says.  Try to ring them in the morning after 0900.  They will have staff at that point.  Send a secure message while you are doing that so at least they will know there are inaccuracies with the recorded data...
